1,451 PR Invitations Are Sent Out in the First Ontario-OINP Draw of 2024

In two new rounds of invitations, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,451 invitations to apply for permanent residency today.

630 invitations were sent under the OINP Foreign Worker stream to profiles with a score of 33 or higher and a job offer in any of the 63 skilled trade occupations.

On December 5, 2023, 821 invites were sent to profiles with a job offer in any of the 41 healthcare and 15 tech occupations (listed later in this article) and a score of 40 or higher in another OINP Foreign Worker stream draw. These scores were slightly lower than in previous draws.

Canada sent out 670 invites for PR as part of the New Express Entry Draw for Truck Drivers.

670 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been sent out by Canada in a new Express Entry draw that is focused on the transportation industry as truck drivers.

The draw, which took place on December 20, was the second to target the transportation industry after occupation-specific invitations were announced.

A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 435 points was required in the fifth Express Entry draw held this month.

The latest Express entry from Canada invited 1,000 candidates for PR from 10 trade occupations.

This is the fifth Express Entry round of invitations for December 2023, with a pause in November 2023.

An Express Entry draw targeting 10 trade occupations issued 1,000 invitations to apply for permanent residency today.

Following over a month without a draw, Canada held its fifth Express Entry draw of the month on December 19, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 425 points.

The draw had the objective of issuing 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for trade occupations.

Canada held its third Express Entry draw in December 2023 and invited 5,900 candidates for PR.

5,900 invitations to apply for permanent residency (PR) were sent out by the IRCC in the second STEM-targeted Express Entry draw, which was held on July 5, 2023. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cutoff was 481, targeting 24 STEM occupations, which is a 5-point decrease from the first STEM Express Entry draw.

On November 30, 2023, we issued targeted notifications of interest to potential candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.

Candidates only received a notification if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 404-430 and work experience in the following national occupational classification (NOC) codes.
