Ontario loosens eligibility criteria for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

Ontario has made a change to its Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

Employer Job Offer: International Student stream by expanding the eligibility requirement for students who have completed a one-year college graduate certificate effective from 1st January 2024.

Previously, the OINP’s Employer Job Offer: International Student stream allowed candidates to apply with a one-year credential from an eligible institution only if the program required the completion of a degree as an admission requirement.

With this change, the OINP allows applicants of any one-year college program that grants an Ontario College Graduate Certificate to qualify for the program, which increases the number of certificate programs eligible for the OINP.

British Columbia on regular basis has selected high-scoring candidates by issuing invitations to them through BC PNP draw who have applied under each category in the PNP that allows them to live and work on a permanent basis.

Candidates who are able to successfully land the provincial nomination are able to apply for PR visas to the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. BC provides its residents with a high standard of living and better career growth opportunities. On a yearly basis up to 1,350 skilled workers are invited by the British Columbia province.

These candidates are invited with the help of the BC PNPs nominee programs

Having these many immigration sub-categories under BC PNP gives the immigrants with different skill-sets a way to apply for a Canada PR visa by provincial nomination program (PNPs).
